About Nettle
Insurers underwrite billions against physical things they can barely see. A factory, a vehicle fleet, a construction site, a hospital. The information that pinpoints where the next catastrophic loss is coming from sits in photographs, site visits, PDFs and the heads of experts who are retiring en masse.
Nettle is the AI workspace for loss control. We interpret physical-world risk at scale, turning what is seen and heard on site into structured, comparable intelligence. We are giving eyes to a $1 trillion industry, and every inspection makes the next one sharper.
We are live in production with tier-1 global carriers including Allianz and with specialty and regional insurers across Europe, North America and Asia. They are completing inspections up to 5x faster, and demand is outstripping supply as a result.
The team
Our team comes out of McKinsey, QuantumBlack, Uber, MongoDB, global financial institutions, and ex-founders. We have been named Insurtech of the Year three times, by FF, Guidewire and ITC, and have raised $7M to date from top-tier investors.
There is no layer between you and the problem. You will own your area outright, decide how it gets solved, and be judged on whether it worked. The bar here is high and we are looking for someone who raises it.
About the Role
This is Nettle’s first dedicated deployment hire. You'll be implementing our enterprise deals end-to-end and writing the playbook from scratch. What you build becomes the standard every account after yours follows. Success in this role means growing a deployment team under you, and a path to Director and then VP.
What you'll own:
You will run multi-month, multi-country rollouts, keeping them on time, on scope, and on budget across dozens of stakeholders.
You will drive a culture of ever improving efficiency through reusable artefacts.
You will be in the room with senior stakeholders on every account. You’ll be responsible for landing ideas, managing difficult conversations, and keeping executives bought in through months of delivery.
You will see more of how customers actually work than anyone else here. You’ll be the customer’s voice inside Nettle, bringing that to our Product-Engineering team in a form they can act on.
You will also work the account over time after it’s live, ensuring customers get maximum value from our solution.
What We're Looking For
3–5 years (junior manager or above) in consulting, customer-facing deployment or implementation roles, or operational roles in enterprise B2B.
Carried enterprise programs end-to-end. You've owned the plan, the milestones, and the relationship with senior stakeholders – not just executed against someone else's.
Exceptional executive communication. You can put an idea in front of a room of executives and land it, and be the trusted person a client calls when something has gone wrong.
Insurance and/or insurtech experience. You know how to speak with underwriters and risk engineers from day one.
AI-native. You may be non-technical, but you don’t shy away from using the terminal and leveraging AI systems (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) to scale yourself.
Nice to have: German, French, or Spanish language skills.
